Lindsay Lohan Fails Drug Test For Cocaine

Well wouldn't you know it, just a few days after I write my hub on Dina Lohan and how she's following the path of her sister and everyone - TMZ, RadarOnline, People etc, are reporting that Lindsay Lohan has failed a drug test for cocaine. Of course they're all having a field day with this news. What's sad is that at first she was denying it. But I guess once she realised it wasn't going to go away she decided to get on Twitter and admit that yes she had failed a drug test saying yes she had failed the test and that:

“Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future."

So what does she do to? Turn around and go straight out on the town with some friends. Yeah that's a great way to prevent any further mishaps Lindsay. Maybe she realised that she's going back to jail for this for sure and is going to party it up while she can.

Of course her crazy ass father Michael Lohan then has to try and steal the spotlight by saying that she's tested positive because she doesn't have him in her life, like he isn't half the reason she's as screwed up as she is in the first place. I seriously, seriously, hope she goes to jail for this. If she doesn't then she's going to continue to re-offend over and over until she dies of a drug overdose, although I doubt she really cares at this stage.

She is a serious danger to the community being out on the streets. It wasn't long after she was released that she supposedly hit a child in a pram crossing the road in her fancy car. And it was not long after she had been pulled over by police for speeding and charming her way out of a ticket when out and about late at night in LA. I mean seriously who does she have to kill before we at least take her off the road for good? She's had at least 2 DUI's and I doubt that's going to be the last of them.

It really annoys me to see someone so reckless and uncaring of the consequences of their actions. So I quote a member of Celebitchy.com with the username of JM Who said "Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200." My thoughts exactly.

But just as Paris is sure to get out of her latest trouble with the law, I'm sure Lindsay will receive a light sentence and be back out on the streets partying like there's no tomorrow in no time at all.

And like in my other hubs I stress that these are the people that our children look up to. They see people like Snooki, Paris, Kourtney Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan partying and living these lifestyles, committing crimes and getting off lightly and treating the world as if it's their personal playground and they think it's cool. They want to be just like them.

You don't believe me? Look at the daughter of Laurence Fishbourne who was so desperate to be famous that she decided to make a porno. Hell it made Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian famous so that means I can get famous too right? It seems so, as since the announcement of her sex tape she has been frequently in the gossip columns and has recently checked herself into rehab. And that's just one girl. Think of how many are trying to get famous this way. I can assure you it's a lot more common than you think.

So I ask - is fame really worth it? Why is everyone so desperate to be famous? I just don't get it. I never have. Sure, I'd like to have money to burn like some of them have just like the next person. But if money is your motivation you'll never find true happiness. You're chasing a pipe dream.

Linday's never had anyone tell her no. Her family are enablers and as hungry for the limelight as she is, so when you think about it she doesn't really have a chance in hell of ever overcoming her demons. Not unless something terrible happens to snap her out of it and make her wake up and smell the coffee. Until then I'm sure we'll continue to see more and more of Lindsay's downfall, which will eventually lead to her early death if she continues down this path.
